Blackbuck Antelope

The blackbuck antelope is a swift, keen-sighted antelope found in herds in grasslands of India. The male stands about 32 inches at the shoulder and has long, ringed, spirally twisted horns. |

| Its coat is brown, deepening with age to black; the underbelly, inner sides of the legs, and an area around each eye are pure white. The female is usually hornless and yellowish brown, though similarly patterned with white. | |
